How To Make Xbox Controller Stay On

So, Borderlands i Claptrap DLC is giving me a hard time. I want to leave my xbox one overnight, so that I tin merely let the collectibles spawn, and choice stuff up the next morn. Only matter is, I don't know how to brand my controller stay on without taping it or something.

I desire to be able to but go out my wireless controller idle. Is there a way to do that? I have a micro USB string, if that helps at all.

i'm going to add, make sure you turn off the "automated close down" setting if y'all want to leave it overnight. although that may be why they said to go on the joystick pressed forward. honestly i don't think it shuts off if you just leave it idle, as long as you accept it plugged in. it works like a 360 wired controller (or wireless with a charge cablevision) in that sense, right?

I never rubberbanded my controller when I idle boosted the collectibles in that DLC. Just connect your controller with the USB cablevision, hide your character, and walk abroad from the Xbox. "Idle booting" is a thing that online multiplayer games practice, not singleplayer campaigns.
